Brighton Happy description of games
Brighton Happy people with masks blocking vision

  • Build trust among the group
  • Foster real communication
  • Create lasting team spirit
  • Boost everyone's confidence
Each two hour session incorporates a series of games where you'll work in pairs, small groups or all together. We've found that people start to enjoy themselves really quickly - even those who don't usually join in. In just a short time, these games can change people in quite profound ways, and we see their faces clearing, their bodies beginning to move more freely.

That'd be you. At Brighton Happy we know that peoples' personalities come in all shapes and sizes and it's part of our job to ensure that no-one feels uncomfortable, or out of place, or pushed into doing something they don't want to. That's not to say the games won't challenge you - that's part of the point - but we don't want people to feel too uneasy either. By the same token we'll keep an eye on the bigger personalities in the group and make sure they don't dominate proceedings. Brighton Happy games are for everyone, and there are no winners or losers.

There'll be one, two or three of us running things, depending on the size of the group. We'll welcome everyone, explain what's going to happen and answer any questions. Then we'll dive straight into the games. During the session we'll observe Brighton Happy's Four Laws of Game Playing, so:

  • We will support you
  • We will not judge you
  • We will place you at the centre of every session
  • We will respect and accept you
