Brighton Happy description of games
Brighton Happy people with masks blocking vision

  • Build trust among the group
  • Foster real communication
  • Create lasting team spirit
  • Boost everyone's confidence
Each two hour session incorporates a series of games where you'll work in pairs, small groups or all together. We've found that people start to enjoy themselves really quickly - even those who don't usually join in. In just a short time, these games can change people in quite profound ways, and we see their faces clearing, their bodies beginning to move more freely.

We use a space in Hove. It's about 10m x 10m and works great for groups of up to 10 people. Or we can come to you. We just need somewhere that's away from everyone else so we can focus on the serious business in hand - having fun. There are some simple Health & Safety requirements but we'll talk these through with you when sign up.

That'd be you. At Brighton Happy we know that peoples' personalities come in all shapes and sizes and it's part of our job to ensure that no-one feels uncomfortable, or out of place, or pushed into doing something they don't want to. That's not to say the games won't challenge you - that's part of the point - but they won't make you feel uneasy either. By the same token we'll keep an eye on the bigger personalities in the group and make sure they don't dominate proceedings. Happy at Work games are for everyone, and there are no winners or losers.

There'll be one, two or three of us running things, depending on the size of the group. We'll welcome everyone, explain what's going to happen and answer any questions. Then we'll dive straight into the games. During the session we'll observe Brighton Happy's Four Laws of Game Playing, so:

  • We will support you
  • We will not judge you
  • We will place you at the centre of every session
  • We will respect and accept you
